“I think it is important to eat healthy and lead a healthy life style and be surrounded by the correct kind of people who keep you grounded and to lead a positive life is important,”she told reporters here today.
On co-star and producer Saif Ali Khan&aposs alleged refusal to promote their forthcoming flick’ Love Aaj Kal’, the actress said,”I am doing my own promotion and traveling for the promotion of the film. I am looking forward to see the reaction. Because I think we have made a fantastic film.”
The film&aposs promos and songs which were released last week have got some fantastic reviews, she said.
Asked about her favourite actor, the actress said,”I have worked with several actors. Shahrukh in the beginning, Akshay, Saif and Ranbir. Everyone has got a different style and personality. It&aposs very difficult to choose and compare. Because everyone&aposs style is different. I must say that I enjoyed working with them and learnt a lot from them.

Priyadarshan gives credit to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan for bringing her to the project. Besides Deeepika, Kareena Kapoor also makes a guest appearance in the movie. "Yes, she was being seriously considered for a film called Pirates about music piracy. But the film didn't work out. I'm so glad Deepika made her debut with a film as successful as Om Shanti Om, and that too with Shah Rukh Khan," said Priyadarshan.

For her character ‘Sakhi,’ in her upcoming movie, Chandni Chowk to China, actress Deepika Padukone learned Ju-jitsu. It is a Japanese martial art. Deepika Padukone went on a high-protein diet. She studied Ju-jitsu for four months. In Japanese language, ‘Ju-jitsu’ means gentle skill. As Deepika Padukone was in sports, it was not so difficult for her. Deepika Padukone is apparently hurt that her co-star and the producer of Love Aaj Kal, Saif Ali Khan, has been stating in his interviews saying he wishes his lady-love Kareena Kapoor was in the film instead of Deepika, sending wrong signals about his leading lady, and about his home production.
But the actress puts up a brave front, "I wouldn't like to comment on it as he's my producer. He's a great producer and a great co-star and I am happy that my director Imtiaz Ali wanted me to be there. I have gone according to his dictates.

Actress Deepika Padukone was the centre of attention at the birthday party of cricketer Yuvraj Singh on Wednesday.

Bollywood star Deepika Padukone attended Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s birthday party at Enigma, J W Marriott, Wednesday, December 12 and mingled with his close friends and family “as if she belongs to Yuvraj’s family.”

“The duo looked more than just friends if their body language was any indication,” a source told the Mumbai Mirror.
In late November, Deepika, 21, and Yuvraj, 26, spent an evening together in Jaipur after the completion of the ODI against Australia.

Deepika flew to Jaipur in Gautam Singhania’s private jet to witness the ODI and spend time with Yuvraj, who is the son of former Indian pace bowler, Yograj Singh.

After the match Yuvraj and Deepika took off on a long drive and wrapped up the day with a romantic dinner.

Deepika is known to be close to Nihar Pandya, a family friend. However, she has steadfastly denied that they are anything more than good friends.

A close friend of Nihar says, “Deepika’s relationship with Nihar is over. She has moved on. Now, Deepika and Yuvraj are a couple.”

When asked how she was cool with Saif touching her butt in an intimate scene in Love Aaj Kal, Deepika Padukone laughed. “Which day and age are we living in, yaar?” Padukone, who was in Delhi to launch the Swiss watch brand Tissot’s Sea Touch, added, “Gone are the days when we had two flowers nodding on screen to depict a kiss. Today, since Saif and I are playing a couple in the movie, we have to touch and even kiss each other. Physical proximity is high and no one minds.”
